As I drove downtown to pick up my brides bouquet, the bottom fell out. Rain.... RAIN.... No please don't rain..... With my schedule getting tight, and their wedding day quickly approaching, I could not have a reschedule because of rain. I quickly picked up my bouquet and headed out to Reynolda Gardens to see what it was like there. Luckily the storm had already passed that area but it was super wet with no signs of the sun coming out to dry it up some before my bride arrived. I called my assistant Kellie to see what she thought we should do. We decided to go ahead as planned. I emailed my bride and told her all was good here and not to worry. We have blankets to put under her dress to keep it from getting wet, but to please wear regular shoes. Kellie soon arrived and we started to plan and scout out the locations. Before we knew it, Our bride was here. We started in what is probably my favorite area of the whole shoot. The trees, the " tunnel " path. It was gorgeous.

Due to the heavy rains from just an hour before, Some of the locations were not an option due to flooding and swampiness. We quickly went through some of the usual spots and continued on with the threat of more rain coming in.

With the grass starting to dry up some, we took our trooper of a bride into some of the grassier areas. With blanket in tow, we laid it out and very carefully tucked it under her dress for each shot.

All of a sudden the wind picked up, It was about to rain again. We hurried to the greenhouse for our last shots. They were quick. With precious time going by, we quickly set them up so we could get her to the car before it started raining again. We made it.
